University of Toronto Libraries Undergraduate Research Prize

Tell us about your innovative research and creative use of information sources for a course assignment and have the chance to win up to $1000 for work you have already done! 

The University of Toronto Libraries has established the University of Toronto Libraries Undergraduate Research Prize. This prize will be awarded to current undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Toronto during the 2016-17 academic year. This prize provides students an opportunity to reflect on their information-seeking experience, showcase their research to an audience beyond the classroom, and promote scholarship excellence at the undergraduate level at University of Toronto.

Who can take part: 

  • Applicants must be first-entry undergraduate students currently enrolled at the University of Toronto. Applicants from any discipline or major, and from any campus, are encouraged to apply. UTSC students cannot submit the same assignment to both the UTL Undergraduate Research Prize and the UTSC Undergraduate Research Prize.
  • Assignments or research projects completed for course work at the University of Toronto during Spring 2016/Summer 2016, Fall 2016 or Winter 2017 are eligible for submission.
