Representation matters: not just on our screens, but in the information and data we use and share. On February 24 (10am - 1pm), join us for an in-person beginner-friendly editing session to help improve coverage of Black histories pertaining to engineering in Wikipedia.
This event is open to anyone who would like to help grow the sum of fair, dignified, and gender-inclusive Black histories on Wikipedia and Wikidata. All levels of skill are welcome.
We will be working to improve the information available on Wikipedia based on a tasklist featuring Black engineers, and participants are also welcome to bring their own editing ideas.
This is an IN-PERSON event specific to engineering. Visit our registration page to sign up.
To sign up for the online Black History Month Edit-a-Thon, visit the Eventbrite Page.
